I did not know there was a movie based on the book “Lolita”. I read the novel. It is quite fascinating. I think that the film would be interesting. I recently bought a subscription to a streaming website via my payment service provider https://www.digitalgp.co.uk/ . Hopefully I can find the production there.

Hi Celia! There are actually two productions of LOLITA: the 1962 film and a 1997 made-for-cable (American channel “Showtime”) movie that was much more explicit. Both films were lukewarmly received given to the controversial nature of the story. Nabokov’s book has also been adapted many times for the stage.
I hope you can find either one of the screen adaptations to watch! My personal preference lies with Kubrick’s film. 😊
